SoundPass Medical provides a novel approach to a multi-century problem in neurosurgery - accurately placing external ventricular drains (EVDs) in neurosurgical emergancies after traumatic brain injury. SoundPass Medical's novel technology features an ultrasound-tipped stylet allowing accurate and safe EVD placements in one attempt. Our novel patented technology allows for real-time 3D imaging as the surgeon places their EVD to save the brain in settings of severe brain swelling.
